Graphical Model of HLA/HIV A
visualization of the associations between high-resolution patient HLAs and their
HIV sequences
 |
Introduction
The Centre for Clinical Immunology and Biomedical
Statistics at Murdoch University Perth and Microsoft Research have created
a graphical visualization of HLA/HLA and HLA/sequence associations derived
from the Perth chronic cohort (approximately 245 patients). The
visualization software runs on Windows 2000, XP, and 2003.
Instructions for downloading and using the sofware, and details on the
data and visualization technology are available below.
Running the Software
- Download the graph
viewer.
- Download one or more model files:
Save them
someplace--for example, in the same directory as the graph viewer.
- Run the graph viewer from the directory where it is saved. For
example, you can press the "start" button, select the "Run" menu and
then type:
"c:\Program
Files\WinMine Browser for HIV\HIVgv".
- The program will start. Load the .xmod file of interest by using
its File/Open menu items.
