The Murdoch University COVID testing program is up and running. The testing is performed right here on Murdoch campus in the accredited Immunogenomics Immunology and Infectious Diseases Laboratories within B90. The assay combines the sensitivity of a PCR test with the convenience of simple, fast and private self sample collection. You can collect kits from sites across campus (see below). In a Nutshell the process is;
Obtain a kit and follow the instructions which are essentially as follows;
Register (once)
Install the Mycap app on your mobile as instructed after registration (once)
Link your app to your registration as instructed (once)
Collect your sample (as many times as needed, see instruction in kit and using links below)
Register your sample in the MyCap app
Drop your sample off at one of our collection points on the appropriate days
Grab a new tube for your next sample (please do not take a new kit, be waste wise and reuse your original kit funnel)

NOTE: Our Collection kits can be obtained at any time from the sites across campus ( see below). If you are providing samples please note these are currently being accepted between 8.30am and 11.00am on Tuesday and Thursday mornings ONLY. For other day drop offs please contact us. We hope to return results by 5pm the same day. If you are feeling symptomatic we strongly recommend wearing a mask and leaving campus once a sample is dropped.
